Gandhi Giri to CNN & other media offices

Hi Experts,

Here is just a suggestion to get attention of media on immigration reform. should we start Gandhi Giri again and this time start sending flowers to CNN office or it would be good to send any known media person like "Anderson cooper" or "Larry King". If they cover this matter in their program then it would put huge impact on the Government and as well as normal people will also come to know about it.

If you feel this suggestion is useless then don't hesitate to mention.....

I think we can bring attention to the IV campaign. Thats going on strong as possible. I think gandhigiri did work once but again doing the same thing might actually hurt us. I think getting attention to the letter campaign might be more useful. Just my 2 cents.

Also, Please if you havent already sent letters please do so. Gurus, Jack please encourage people to send letter for the IV campaign. It will just take 5 mins and 2 dollars. The letter sending may or may not work. But if it works its good, if it doesent work we remain at same place and havent lost anything.

I am just curious, did anything actually happen as a result of the flower deliveries from last time? I know the whole event recieved a lot of publicity in media, but I am just wondering if anything else happen.

As far as I know after reading the news stories it did make an impact. Of course the reveral of the bulletin was not 100% due to the campaign but it did bring media attention and certainly played a role in it. Just google flower campaign immigration and see.
