G325A question, please help

Do we need to include TA/RAship on G325A? I saw someone on this board who included everything, had valid I-20 and OPT, but got RFE on explanation of his RA/TA work and work during OPT. No suprise that some INS officers are stupid and ignorant. Are there any people who got approval without including RA/TAship? Thanks a lot.

You need to include TA/RAship on G325A. How do you explain the employment break if you don\'t include TA/RA on G325A?
 
I don\'t understand why we can\'t

have break in your employment history? What if someone pay for his study? For example, if someone studied from 1997 to 1999 without any TA/RAship, then he worked from 2000 to present, does he need to put "None from 1997 to 1999" in G325a?
