G325 Biographic information, needed or not?

Do people applying for naturalization submit G-325 form (biographic information)?
here it says that it is not needed (and it is not listed on the checklist for N400):

So you are basing this question on 6 year old post, and a rule which expired 10 years ago?

Since the N400 does not ask for it, you do not need to submit it.

nope, not needed; the thread you cited is ~5 years old. Don't know if it was necessary then, but it's not expected nor mentioned anywhere today.
