G325 A problem

A friend of mine got an RFE for paystubs, W2 etc... when he was about to reply, his lawyer found that they had made a mistake in their G325A. Basically there was a company that he had worked for about 2 weeks in 1999 that he didn't mention in the G325A. He had worked perfectly legally in that company (he had an EAD then). But what should he do now ? Can he file an amended G325A ? If yes, how will his I-485 processing be affected ?

I think G-325A is not processed if you have not left the country in 1 year of filing date.
