My husband is a US citizen through naturalization..His original nationality is Thai..The question is regarding the last question in form G-325A which says "If your native alphabet is in other than Roman letters, write your name in your native alphabet below". My question is "does my husband need to write his name in Thai alphabet?" (since he is already a US citizen)...

Thank you.

I take that your husband is living in USA for more than 5 years since he is already a citizen. In this case, this item may not be as relevant as there is less probability of USCIS or their agent ever checking anything about your husband in foreign country on the basis of his name , having said that it doesn't hurt putting his name in Thai alphabet in that space. Additional information won't hurt in this case.

If your husband knows how to write in English then he should just write his name in English and forget about all this "native language" thingy. It's not applicable here in his case.

I asked my mom to write her name in the native alphabet in both the forms G325a and I think I 130 (if I am not mistaken). It is better to provide info. rather than leave it blank.
