Hi, I’m filling my I-485 and I-130 (married to a USC) on the G-325A you have to list your employment history, I’ve been a house wife for almost 2 years now, we have lived at 2 different resident during this time.

A. My question is do I have to list both residents separately along with their accompanying dates and list Housewife as my occupation at both addresses
Or
B. Do I list my current address only and just put the whole 2 years (even if I was not a housewife at this resident for the whole time)

Also under Name and Address of employer do I put my home address or just put N/A and under occupation write Housewife?

I hope I did not confuse anyone
Thanks for any input

By housewife you mean a 'stay at home wife' right? You don't need to include that since that is not considered an employment... even though it should!! :)

I think since you have to put unemployed in case you don't have a job, where/when applicable, housewife is the appropriate answer. At least on the naturalization application, you need to list your working/employment history for the past 3/5 years, and women who stayed home put housewife when and where applicable.
In my understanding is not a question who accepts "N/A" or "NONE" as answers, you should state clearly your employment history.

In that case you can put "unemployed" as well or housewife or houseman? hey there are some over there you know :), as you wish. Anyway they just want to know what you was doing in that period of time.

Good luck,

Good luck,

I suggested housewife because it sounds better that plain, cold unemployed.
A housewife takes care of the house, cooks, raises the kids, etc.
Unemployed...automatically you think about someone who stays all day on the couch and watches soap opera.

Name and Address of the employer, just put "yourself"? and your address since is the same.
If you were living in another place even doing the same thing, you should put the other address as well.
