While applying for I-130, we have to fill two G-325, one for wife and another for myself. In my spouse form, does she have to sign and in the final box the applicant is my wife? right?

Also is the scanned copy of signed form okay?

If you're applying for a greencard for your parent, do you need fill out the G-325A form for yourself as the sponsor as well? Or just for the beneficiary?

Thanks elcupacabras. One another question, I am a US citizen sponsoring for my wife. Should I continue to put my old A# in the file number? or should i leave it blank? or put my certification number?

Also some sites refer to 4 copies of g-325a? so both of us need to take 4 copies of g-325a form and sign it?

As far as Im aware, you would still put your A# on the form where it asks for it.

As for how many copies....the old G325A used to be 4 copies, but now the new form is only 1 copy. Some people, to be on the safe side, have made 4 copies anyway, while others have just sent 1. From my reading of people's recent experiences, no one has any problem either sending 4 copies or 1.

Oh- and where I said some made 4 copies....it is important that if you do this, each copy must have an original signature.

Just a tip......some people have been unfortunate to get their package returned to them requesting original signatures when the signatures really were original, as sometimes when signing in black the signature can actually look like a copy. So the tip is to sign in blue ink as this eradicates this problem.

Thanks... I was just referring to some websites which talked about 4 forms.. I got the form from online and saved it and i didn't get something filled automatically. Thanks for the tip on blue ink sign. I will have my wife sign hers in blue..

Yeah- with the old G325A form, when you filled in the information on the first form, it automatically transferred this information onto the other copies so you didnt have to write out the same information 4 times. As the now G325A is only comprised of 1 form, this no longer happens.
