welcome to the wonderful world of immigrant hypocrisy... it's the old "let me in... now wait, do not let anymore people in.. all the others are rif-raff ... but let my mom/dad/relative/family in, now that i am a US citizen" syndrome.
and it will happen more and more as jobs (especially tech/service/call center etc. etc.) get transferred to third world countries where costs are cheaper
