Process has been started in July 2000... (Labor Cert.) - Atlanta - Georgia.

I-485 : RD 02/21/02, ND 02/26/02, PD blank (????).

FP Should be done in 05/02, but I went to the local office (Atlanta) and got this done earlier on 04/06.

AVM says INS received results of FPs on 04/24. "Your process is resumed. We will communicate if further info is needed or when a decision will be made" something like that...

no AD yet...

Since I have heard people with FPs done in Mar/April have been forgotten, not sure if it was a good idea to get FP done earlier...

Sent a letter to my Congressman for expediting (need GC for HOPE scholarship for my daughter that has been denied) but he answered INS just allows expediting a process under some specific circumstances (humanitarian, financial loss...) and he could not help me. Actually he should be more worried in getting re-elected... no time for immigrants...

Just sharing my experience with you and contributing with my info for statistics... Let me hear your thoughts. Also let me know if you know cases that cannot use the HOPE scholarship because is not a GC holder... Thanks!

Rickgm, I guess you are LTT's friend in the Tracker.

If not, please add your details to the tracker: http://www.e-nairobi.com/aos.

If you did your FP on 5/2/02, your case might have been approved now. Same to me, if I had done my FP on 5/20/02 as scheduled instead of 4/20/02, my case might be approved as well. To do FP ahead of schedule has no effect on processing. Luck or not is very important now. I can only say that the 2002 filers got FP done in April are not lucky as compared to those late filers with FP done in May and June.

Do not know why TSC got your FP so late. Normally FP should be received in TSC within 10 days after FP done.

You can find my analysis in previous posts. I do not think your daughter can apply for Hope Scholarship without GC.

Gking,

thanks for your input. It took 18 days for INS to get the results of my FP. So, not a big difference (10 days). I tried to use the link you put there http://www.e-nairobi.com/aos. but it did not work, please update, so I can try again.

So do you think I cannot use the HOPE for my daughter while we do not have the GC, right? Anybody with similar HOPE scholarship experience you know?

Thanks again
