Hi All,

I finally got a reply to my query from the french consulate in DC . Here it is from the horse's mouth for the benefit of all.

Reply from the french consulate :

Hi,

Advance parole is equivalent to the green card and also recognized by French
authorities. So you do not need an airport transit visa to stay at Paris Roissy
CDG airport while waiting for your connecting flight to India.
