I agree with all of you. Those fraud cases must be prosecuted with the fullest extent of the law.
Sometimes i find it extenuating this long wait for the interview. An awkward feeling lately arising, is that our marriage is not only about the two of us, but also about USCIS, whose weight is felt in everything we do, for we are often uncounscioly thinking about keeping papers, bills, mails, pictures for the interview. I am trying now to forget about that, because I think this immigration thing had obsessed me lately.
We must not let this issue make us get obsessed...
I was recommended to forget about it at least until the interview, and then get prepaired with my wife with FAQs, since we heard of a case of a true marriage having problems in the interview because one of the answers about birhdays presents did not match. The husband had forgoten an item, which the wife remembered well. After the interview failed (they were told they would undergo further investigations) husband and wife had serious troubles.
She was really mad at him!!
Of course they will succeed in all the further investigations. But... this long immigration issue is kind of preventing us from fully enjoying our first year of marriage.
Back to the point of discussion: all this long exhausting waiting time is -to a large extent, I guess- due to the big amount of sham marriages happening right now.
