FYI: Got EAD card

Its so amazing -- you focus on your 485 app so hard that one forgets to check status of EAD. surprisingly my EAD card was in my mailbox today - my 3rd one.. One thing I liked was it starts only in may (when my current one expires)

I guess Nov. 25th is when we applied...

I'm sick and tired of seeing these plastic cards I wanna see the real one !!!!

I wasn't that lucky, first of all I haven't received my EAD card yet, I have waited for close to 3 weeks and the wait still continues...

My new EAD( which is my third one) card based on the approval notice that my Attorney has received overlaps with my current EAD card,there is an overlap of close to 3 months

If I need to apply for a replacement card, I need to shell out another $120

To cap it all I have been waiting for my GC for close to 2 years and 2 months now

EAD card recived even after approval

my 485 was approved jan 14 and i have already got stamped


but todaay i got a card from the bcis

it turns out to be 1 year extention of my EAD
