Though applied initially I-485 and others through lawer, I discontinued using lawer and mailed directly for change of address, ead renewals and the AP ( approved recently ). I need to inform the lawer my change of address yet.

- I saw some people here are interested in ead details too other tahn 485, so I posted here

Did you apply for new EAD by yourself?

I want to renew my EAD not using lawyer, did you do this?
Is there any risk doing this by myself, can you advice?

May be they are. My RD is 12/31, ND is 1/15 no approval yet.

I applied for Renewal of my EAD, RD is some where JAN 9, received card yesterday.
I don't see anything wrong or a problem in applying on our own. I did it on my own.

I realised "lawer as a layer" in our process.
Yes it may help IF we are here illegally /andor cooked up our documents,
