FYI:Do not initiate SR before PD is current!!

For Friends who will be current on July 1.

Please do not initaite a service inquiry(SR) before July 1st. You will recieve a standard reply of 'visa number not available'. A second (SR) can only be created after 60 days ( I got 30,45,and 60 days from 3 different reps). I made this mistake and could not create another SR.
I was lucky that my case was approved any how.

Initiating a SR is a good idea as it forces the IO to take a look at your case. If filing with family initiate a SR for every one.

I placed a SR 10days back but till now didn't get any response.I saw luds yesterday and today.Looks like have to wait some more time.

Press the following in the order given below 1-2-2-6-2
A CSR will pickup and ask you some question. After answering all the question ask to open a service request inquiry. They will ask some more questions about receipt number, A number, DOB,address etc.
