i have a approved I-140, EB3-india, PD-aug 05.
my spouse has a EB1 I-140 pending...
i dont want to continue with my employer for GC sake since they do not have any clients in my area....and it sucks to work through middle layers....
if my spouse EB1 gets denied then she also does not want to continue with her employer.
that means we both will try to get a better job in a bigger place like atlanta.....and then think about restarting GC again...
my aim is to get a better work satisfaction so that we dont feel miserable during weekdays (blv it or not....our life is controlled by work almost 80%).
i do have great doubts about the term "work satisfaction" but i am optimistic that if we keep looking we are sure to find a good company with a good team....
and if we feel good about our work....then life will be a breeze since long term plan is to keep saving so that if things get tough we can retire in our home country....
(according to my opinion....$200k is enough to retire for a family of three in india.....around $50-70k for housing....rest in interest generating bank account.........should be enough to sustain a good lifestyle.....and then we can always look for a job...)
i am going to wait for next 4-6 months(keep my approved I-140 alive) to see how things turn out in terms of legislation........and if it looks like a never ending political drama i will take the decision to switch...
what do you guys think about this plan??
