Looks like you have all the time in the world to wait to apply for your GC !!!!! Really surprising. Everyone here is desperate to find out how soon they can apply.
You can join the company after 485 approval and as per current processing times it takes years (unless you are in CA). So earlier you file your 140 /485 is better.
