I applied for my I140/485 (Case A) from company A in March 2003. Case A was denied based on company A’s ability to pay and is currently pending adjudication with AAO.
I still work for Company A however I applied for a new I140/I485 (Case B) using labor substitution (March 2001) just recently from Company B.
What is the best time for me to join Company B to ensure my GC process goes well and how long should I have to stay with Company B? Company B is big American firm and has only filed around 10 H1B and around 3 GC’s in last 10 years.

Thanks for your suggestions.

It is possible to get GC without working for that company by timely use of AC-21 as long as sponsoring company does not create problem. This is agreed in USCIS memos also.
So there is no best time or any thing like that. It depends upon your arrangements with sponsoring company and its policies

Can i use EAD to work for company B without I-140 approval ? Company A has no problem and supports my I-140/485. Guru's pls reply.
