Future employment. Travel with valid AP and expired EAD.

can anyone help me please, My GC is in process under Future Employment category.

My EAD will expire on may 10 and my AP will expire on May 28.


Can my wife (who used her EAD) re-enter US, without any problems, with valid AP and expired EAD. (Both expiring in 2 weeks from date of entry)

Yes she can.

She can enter until 12:00am on May28.
AP is no way linked with EAD.
 
tHANKS FOR YOUR REPLY. Is there any chance that the Immigration officer may question the status as the AP expires in 1 week.

Will producing the I485 receipt solve?
 
Don't worry, you are fine... AP is not for status , this is only for Reentry to US. You should be allowed till the valid date.

Better to keep, 485 receipt with you but I am sure they won't ask !!
