Future Employment I 485 Case transferred to St.Louis MO

Hello All,

Please need ur advise...

My case status states that

On December 14, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in ST LOUIS, MO for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in ST LOUIS, MO will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I had my FP on 10/26 . Is my case transfered for processing or is it in the final stage?

I processed my GC using a substitute Labour with my previous employer A and i am currently working with Employer B in st.louis. This is the status now...

Is this the regular process to transfer the case to the local office or is it related to the future employment case ?

Also anyane has any idea how long it takes in St.louis to schedule interview....

Dont be scared. I am exactly like you but in a different state. I did FP on 10/30 and it got transferred. Because you are doing future employment it got transferred. Your case would be adjudicated on the day of interview.

Yes, just to take all I94's and EAD's EVL thats it. You should be done in 10 minutes. Yes mine is future employment

Should we have employement offer from the Sponsorer (In this case Future employer) or we just say we will join the company after apporval?

I know i am asking too many qustions...but ..confused....

My Interview is on Feb 16th. Along with Passport & I-94, I am planning to take the following docs

1. Letter for Interview
2. EVL from current Employer
3. Offer letter from Sponsoring employer
4. Pay stubs for last 6 months
5. I 485 reciept / I-140 approval / Labour approval
6. W2 for lsat 7 yrs
7. Tax returns forms for last 7 yrs
8. Birth Certificate
9. Marraige Certificate
10. Degree Certificate
11. Copies of Medical Copies
12. Bank Statements

Please let me know if I am missing anything...

My case is related with future employment. After the labor approval from Comapny A I moved to Company B. Then My 140 was approved from previous employer and applied for I 485....

Hello All,
I got my approval today after interview at St,Louis office. Everything went well and smooth.
My Interview was at 10.30 am. Reached there at 10.10 am. Waited outside with our mind & Officer called us at 10.40 am.
She had mine and my spouse's files together.

Had our index finger printed...went into the room and then had the usual formalities of Taking oath and other standar questions about drugs, felony etc,,,
Date of birth,When were you both married, Parents name, Where do they live..

Then she asked the following ...
1.Your 485 was filed by Comapny A?
2. Where are they located?
3. When did you join Comapny A?
4. Are still working with Company B?
- Gave her EVL and last years W2.
6. When did you join comapny B?
7. What is your position there ?
- Sr. Programmer Analyst and I we do Software Development & Maintainence
8. She asked for EAD & AP...and took it.

She told thisngs are fine..let me see if i can get you the Visa Number...and she got it..and gave us our approval letter and stamped the passport and told us that we will receive the Green Card in the post.

Are you still working for company B or joined the company A (GC Sponser)? And what did say when the officer asked for "When did you join Comapny A"? It is mandatory that you should join the GC Sponser employer after getting the GC? Any idea?
