Future employment GC I-485 to CP, problems to anticipate

Any problems with Future Employment GC processing and switching from I-485 to CP.

In my case I never worked for the company that's sponsoring me. I will be working with sponsoring company once I get GC. My Labor approved and filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently in Aug 03 at CA through that company. Now with I-485 is taking hell lot of time, I'm thinking once my I-140 is approved I better switch to CP.

I come under Chennai Consulate.

I'm not sure if my current job functionality is similer to the one submitted by my future employer. I did not get to see the description they put in there. Though I am/will be doing Software Developement.

I don't see any problem with your situation. But it will be good
if you can get hold of a copy of the LC and tailor your responses
accordingly, if there is a question about what you are doing
right now and what you would do after joining the sponsoring
company.

Just imagine , if the consular officer asks you 'So, What would
you do for this company xxxxxxxx??.

I was thinking future employment cases will be treated different.

Any idea if every thing is clean in terms my H1B, Experience and background, the chances of getting rejected at the CP.

I wonder are there any approved cases with futurue employment GC like mine.

{No, they are not, even though the case is stronger if a person
is already employed with the sponsor. But this is not a cause
for cencern }

{The instances of rejection are very rare}
