I think My case is complicated.
When I was working with company ' A' they filed labour but while it was pending I moved to Company 'B'
Company 'A' promised me that they continue green card. They are doing it.
But my case was transfered to newark on Sep 14 th and I received interview letter on Nov6th.
My interview is scheduled on Dec6th 2004.
They did not mention Officer name or number. They asked me to bring passport and I 94.
I need advice from you.
I want to know What are they going to ask me? What other documents I should carry. and who is going to interview me (Since they did not mention office number /name).

I don't think that should be a problem for you. Your case is exactly same as my case krishna. The only thing is at the time of interview you should be able to figure out whether you want to work with the sponsoring employer (for atleast 6 months) or the employer whom u are working with. If you have decided to work with the current working employer then you should become an employee of them and also should be able to show their tax documents, atleast 2-3 paystubs on their name for you etc.

Apart from that take pretty much the standard documents like

1) Passports
2) Latest Pay Stubs
3) Last 2-3 year tax returns
4) Marriage Certificate
5) Birth Certificates of all family members
6) Approved I-140
7) 485 receipts
8) Original EAD and AP of all the family members
9) Latest Supporting Employment Letter from whoever is sponsoring
10) I-94
11) H1 visa (I-797)

These are few things which comes to my mind. You can look at the forum previous messages or also confirm the check list with your attorney too. Just let me know how your interview goes.

My case is also transferred to local washington dc office on september 23rd 2004. I just got news from the senator's immigration office from whom i am seeking help that the washington dc office will schedule the interview any time between december and january time frame.

I am going to work for Sponsor employee. I have one more questions can i join in sponsoring company and ran the payroll now and show the paystub of sponsoring company to prove that I already joined in sponsoring company.
 
Any time during the GC process you can start working with the sponsoring employer. That's absolutely no problem at all. If you have job that can be provided the sponsoring employer immediately go ahead.

I need advice from some one.
My case has been transfered to local office and scheduled interview on dec6th.
Right now i am not working for sponsoring company. I am going to join in that company by 15th nov.

My question is if my employer run the paystub from newjersey will it be a problem because my labour was approved from Philadelphia and I live in newjersey and my sponsoring employer has offices in philadelphia and newjersey.
 
The employer can be in a different office and you can work in different state too. For example if the employer has multiple branches or if the employer placed with a client in a different location people will be working in different state than where the employee will be working right. So i don't think that will be an issue at all krishna.

Don't be nervous. Just take all the possible combination of documentation that's it. Nothing else can be done.

Should I go for Medical test again or old ones are fine.
Because they did not ask me to bring medicals. they asked only passport and I 94. Do they expire after some time. How long it s valid.

Hi Krishna,

I processed my GC using a substitute Labour with my previous employer A (whom i worked for 3 yrs) and i am currently working with Employer B in st.louis. This is the status now...

On December 14, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in ST LOUIS, MO for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in ST LOUIS, MO will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I had my FP on 10/26 .
My case is same as urs...I am sure u got ur GC...It would be of great help if you could share ur interview experience ....
