My PR file was completed and the CIC started processing my application on 18 nov,2002. I recently changed my address by faxing to CIC. Other than that i did not send any communication.

The funny thing is i just received the below mail from CIC.
"we acknowledge receipt of your correspondece informing us of a change in your family composition due to marraige. In order to continue processing your application, additional documents are required."

I never got married and never informed them.what do i do now?.what is the best way to communicate this and make them restart the processing without any delay?.

thanks in advance...

Oooouuuuuuch!!

I hope CPC is not following the foot steps of BCIS!! Most probably it's a mistake. Make a copy of the letter and send it to the CPC, telling them that you have only changed your address, and still a bachelor :p

Best is to always send a hard copy after the fax, give a two to three days wait before sending the letter, mention this letter was faxed on ____ date. Keep a copy of the letter with your self too.

Make sure the letter is registered or sent through courier so that you can give precise reference of it in the future.

Send a fax ASAP about the mistake, and a copy of the letter you received from CHC/ CIC.
