Funds to BCIS

Take it easy

$3 million,
It's big for a guy who bought a lottery and won jackpot himself;
It's nothing for BCIS, just like the same guy bought a lottery and matched 3 number and won $5 or a free ticket.
BCIS had been joked.
 
This is a joke

Here is the breakup of the funding.

BICE(Immigration & Customs Enforce) $170,000,000 33% of money
BCBP(Customs & Border Protection) $333,000,000 65% of money
BCIS(Citizenship & Imm. Services) $3,000,000 (a well deserved 0.5% of the allocation)

This is ridiculous. Now we know where BCIS falls compared to BCIE and BCBP from the current Bush administration. Not to be bitter but come on, couldn't they have allocated 3 or 4% instead of the 0.5%.
 
$3million is a joke indeed. Let’s assume the whole package for one employee in BCIS is 50k a year, $3 million can only add 60 employees, divided by 5 service center, is 12 persons for TSC. Divided by different working group, I guess 2-3 new people will be assigned to take care of I-485. Consider the efficiency of TSC, this will not make any difference.

I think It is fair to ask that All the service fee we submit should be used to serve us, which should be more than enough to hire enough people to take care of out application, even they are all as smart as the current employee.

I can only say that in the current economic and political environment, no one really give a thought to our misery.
