Funds that we need to have to get the visa!!!

I am from Nepal. I m confused, if i have an sponsor i.e. Affadavit of Support from the U.S. Citizen then do i need to show my own funds. If yes, what is the minimum requirement? Does anyone have any idea about the exact level. And by the way, I am 20, living on my familys support and dont have any funds of my own. Can I choose my dad, my mum & my mum's brother (maternal uncle) as my sponsors? Please help, if anybody have any idea.

An Affidavit of Support should be enough.

You need one of the following:

Affidavit of Support : form I134 filled by a US Citizen ( USC ) or a Legal Permanent Resident

Job offer in the US : it is better to obtain a job offer on the company's letterhead and have it notarized.

Own funds ( bank accounts, assets....): see poverty guidelines for an idea of the amount. ( bank statement)

The affidavit of support has to come from someone in the US and they have to have funds above the poverty guidelines - to which you would mean and extra person so the figure goes up. You dont need your own funds as proof. You cant use your family if they are not US citizens or have a permanent US resident visa.
So that is out for you.
You can get a job offer.
If that is also out then you need to show a steady amount of over $13,000 in your bank account.
If you cant meet any of these you are better off not wasting money on the medical and the $755 on the interview as it is highly likely you wont get the GC
