07/31/2003: Frustrating News of I-485 Processing Times at Nebraska Service Center

According to the AILA, the EB-485 processing will experience further slow-down until the end of FY 2003 (09/30/2003) because of the shift of resources to the Religious Worker Special Immigration expedites and refugee 485 cases. Probably, this slow-down may apply in other Service Centers as well as we approach the end of the FY. People should remember that the immigration agency has been undertaking the annual file audit, during which the entire files are frozen. The employment-based I-485 cases have already been moving literally in snail-pace or at standstill. When it comes to I-485 processing, there does not seem to be any sign of light at the end of tunnel.

Hope these religious workers will pray for us: employment based 485 applicants, many of those have been contributing to this great country for over 10 years, after getting their expedited green cards.

We are so royally F****D systemtically and intentionally by the Govt of US and TSC. At this point I don't think there is anything one can do. Won't be surprised if BCIS pushes the processing time to 10 years, another way of saying give us your tax dollars and get the f*** out of here.

How disgusting it is to know how this BCIS function in general and TSC in particular. Otherwise, what in the whole world it makes sense to say" it is taking between 990 and 999 days for this kind of case". This will tell how (in)efficient they are. They are sure they can't do in less than 990 days but they can certainly do in 999 days. Whatever!!

Hey Guys, we are all going through all kinds of frustration over a long period because of TSC. Atleast, one good thing. You know what?
TGIF! Have fun and enjoy good weekend. Or you will miss good summer weekends. So, don't waste time cursing BCIS, rather go out and have fun!
