Very frustated NOT to receive FP notice.Almost everybody whose ND was around mine has got FP. Don\'t know what to do? lawyer is also not very helpful. Should I call to VSC or should I wait a little longer because they are not going to touch my file in next 2 months? If they have any policy then I should have got my FP notice by now. What worries me is if FP notice is lost in the mail then how on earth I will know that they ever sent one.What happens if they later say that your GC was denied because you didn\'t do FP. Any experience ? Please share.

Hello,

it\'s a very good idea that you call IIO. This is especially important if you have had any address changes after applying I485. Also, if the lawyer made any screw ups, calling an IIO would really help becuase they can look at your file and tell you if in fact a FP notice was sent or if not, then why.

I would suggest that, first make sure your lawyer has really not received your FP yet. The same thing happened to me. Lawyer did not inform me for 2 weeks about FP notice. I had to involve my HR manager to contact lawyer. I know how frustrating it is. All the best.

Fianlly, I too received the FP notice. The notice was sent by VSC on
Feb 16,2001 but lawyer forwarded it only yesterday.

Well a similar thing happenned to me. My lawyer got a FP notice on 2/14. Only when I called them repeatedly did they check and find out where it was. This was yesterday and the FP is scheduled for tomorrow. I have a feeling that oct 99 to March 2000 FP waiters should all have FP notices by now and that lawyer\'s are probably screwing up.
