I read an article at http://www.immigration-law.com that states there are frontlog problems at VSC. VSC is having problems with its mailroom
contractors. The result of this is that I-485 receipt notices are taking longer than usual to be mailed out. Also, immigration officers are
actually working in the mailrooms instead of doing their normal case processing work. This may be indicative of the slower mailing of I-485 receipt notices that we are seeing lately, and it also may indicate a slowdown in processing.
Just thought i would bring this to everyone\'s attention.
