my major health care company told my termination date is 12/7 due to layoff but i will get severance pay until 1/31/2025, company in letter/email told me they will revoke my H1B after 1/31/2025 which is my severance pay end date. The severance pay stub says "salary" in it and not severance word given. as per USCIS doc, you are in H1B status until your pay is being generated. Can you please help me on this urgent matter?
From which date i should calculate h1b grace period? termination date or severance pay end date? severance pay end date is when my h1b will be revoked
