From where was your passport mailed?

I have a question for those who went to the post office to apply for a passport. When I went on Saturday, the postal clerk mentioned that all passport applications (at least the ones from Sacramento) will be mailed to Los Angeles to a central passport processing facility. From there, the applications would be distributed to various passport agencies around the country depending on their work loads. The ones with little work would get more applications than the busy ones. So, it's possible that my passport could even be mailed back to me from Honolulu.

So, I'm just wondering if anyone ever noticed from where their passport was mailed. Thanks.:):)

Thank you; that's very nice of you. I had posted the oath experience under the "Sacramento Timeline" thread.

Looks as though my passport will come from San Francisco; the US Department of State cashed my check today, and it showed San Francisco on it.
