From the data on rupnet.com, only 50% August cases are processed (approved/RFE)! It will be quite a while.
 
Earlier I thought August will be until end of Sept.. Not it looks like August will drag into October as well.

RD:Aug'01 still waiting...INS sucks big time....actually, no.....we are all beggers.....and beggers can't be chosers. INS is just doing what it is suppossed to do.....allow as less beggers as possible....and keep the rest at bay.
 
Come on guys, be optimistic. I'm not quoting facts but from data on rupnet, it looks like VSC is moving at a faster pace than before. At the current rate, barring any problems, VSC should be done with Aug by end of this month. I'm optimistic about it :-).

Ric: Did you notice that the total number of August filers is also increasing? If the trend continues, then theoritically August cases will never end ;) Don't pay too much attention to that one, dude, coz a lot of people seemed to have disappeared after all the changes that went on here.
A plea to GreatyK: Would you be able to display the date on which data was originally entered? This will probably give us information on how many people entered data only after their approval. And, if you can, please send an e-mail to all August users to update their data on Rupnet (you may want to include a statement to ignore the e-mail if they have already updated their records recently). Thanks, greaty!

If you remember I have been saying the same thing from the very begining

Waiters only Update Rupnet after Approval, hence the number of filers and approvals goes up, but the waiters remain constant.

I wish there was a way we could convince people to update their details when they are waiting.

Yeah Yeah I know its just wishful Thinking
 
On an optimistic note,

Lately I noticed, people have been more responsive in terms of updating rupnet.com with their approvals.

WheresMahGreen, on the contrary, I think no. of approvals is beating no. of new additions (in Aug'01 category). New additions is certainly going on a flat curve with miniscule increases.

We really can't help people who don't want to update.

I agree with WheresMahGreen

Lot of people forget their password and create a new id.

Lot of people create their id after getting approval.

Lot of people loose their interest in GC & trackers due to these
long waits.

So we can forget about % of approvals on these trackers.

Hi Great-k,
Can you find out how many august records have duplicate data for RD,ND,FP,PD. All these may not be duplicates,we can imagine that some users might have forgotten their userid/passwords and recreated these records. If there exist no match, then we can conclude that all these cases are genuine cases.

The way August cases are going on , only hope of approval of Early Sept Case (like you) - sometime in late Oct - considering LIFO strategy of INS.

Mine is early Oct - may be late Dec.

It is getting too heavy on us.
 
I am sure that

the whole paradigm of thinking changes dramatically for those approved and they just move on with their new life and never update their waiting status.

Sorry about the late reply.
I'll be working on displaying "date data added" soon and will post in the same thread when done.
Regarding sending e-mail to users to update their data, rupnet is already doing that for users posting on immigrationportal.
Also, an auto e-mail will go out to all users to update their data on completion of one year from their RD.
