from permanent job to contract

Dear all,
My current job is a permanent job offer for a company. I want to move to another state because my husband got an offer from that state. The only job offer I can get is from a staffing company, basically they have a 1 year contract job for me, working for another company.
Please share your opinions on this situation. Does the contract position qualify for AC21? The staffing company's attorney did not comment on my situation (I140 approved, 485 waiting>1 year). I am worried that the job offer is not a permanent job, hence the employment verification letter can be problematic. Any way to make the EVL to support my waiting for 485?

I am in a similar situation and would appreciate advice from experienced members of this board. My 140 is aprroved and 485 is pending for more than 180 days. I have offers from couple of consulting companies for contracts of 6 months to 12 months. Also, my labor cert was applied for the positon of programmer analyst and I currently work as a QA analyst. Will that be a problem while ascertaining similar job clause?
 
For GC you need a permanent job - no end date or duration and no 1099.
For AC21 - minor salary chnges nd/or title/job description changes are OK. Prgrmmer Analyst to QA Analyst is like a grey area.
