From L1B to L1A or Green Card or H1B

I have L1B visa and this will expire in November 2006. I cannot renew it because I am already under this visa for almost 5 years. However, the visa could be extended until March 2007. What are my optinos in this case? Which is the fastest (or easiest) way to get a permission to stay in US? What is your sugestion to my employers?
