From I485 Approval to the Plastic Card

Hello Folks:

Is there a discussion already ther on receiving the plastic card from
the stamping of I-551(Green Card approval)?

If not, please post your information on this.

I received my stamping done on Friday, the 8th of June, 2001.
Posted my details on Saturday.

Can someone gestimate, "how much time it takes today to receive the plastic card?"

According to the IIO at the INS, it will take between 6 to 12 months -that is a very broad window.
