From green card to F-1 without leaving US

I have a conditional green card and will not apply to remove conditions. I also have I-20 and want to file for F-1. How to file for F-1 without leaving the US?

F1 is most likely to be denied, since you already are an immigrant.

You need to retain a lawyer to look through your circumstances. There may be grounds that you can remove the condition on your GC. I wouldn't make that decision alone without getting some legal advice.

Since you have already demonstrated immigrant intent, it is going to be hard to demonstrate to the embassy later on unless you have substantial ties overseas.
