Is it possible to move from EAD to H1? Here is my case details.
Came to US on h1 4 years back for employer x, X filed my i-140 and i-485. After 180 days, I changed job to company Y and since than using EAD, never transferred H1 to company Y. I still have 1.5 year left on original h1 (out of 6 yr I have used I think 4.5 yrs including the time I was on EAD). So this is not 7th year extention etc. Now I am going to get married soon and with this retrogression (EB3 India) I have no hope to see GC anytime soon, Can I ask my employer Y to get h1 transferred from X?
