The next biggest update will come as a public announcement in an hour.
Please do not keep clicking every second. It will not reduce the wait time. A minute will still have 60 second in it and we are more than an hour away. If everyone can sacrifice some clicks, it will save the website from crashing and make sure that we can provide updates to everyone. If the site crashes it will be a loss of up-to-date information to everyone, including people who are clickhappy.

Is there a way you can wait for 'the' announcement if it is so 'imminent'. There is no advantage in doing a precursor of an announcement 1 hr from the announcement unless you want everybody's attention....

We know everybody in this forum is waiting for some news .No offence Vsach is trying to help and bring the news ....:) :)
 
No annoucement for today ( July 17th 07)

The American Immigration Lawyers Association is now telling members not to expect an announcement today. It is not clear why USCIS has delayed an announcement, but I will report as I learn more....

Another Update

UPDATE AT 3:15 PM EST TUESDAY: The latest update we received is the annoucement to be made soon will be as follows:

DHS will be rescinding its July 2 update and the initial July Visa Bulletin will take effect for 31 days – i.e., all employment-based green card categories (except for the “Other Workers” category) will be “current” and CIS will accept applications through August 17.

DHS will issue a press release to this effect later today.
 
hi guys,

I know this might be a repeated question but was wondering if the USCIS processes the 485 cases on the RD or base don the original labor PD.
