My friend got I-485 approved. His case is EB3 TX, AUG 10 2001 PD, 140/485 CONCURRENT RD MAR 31, 2004, EARLY FP NOV 2004, 140 AD JAN 19, 2005, 485 AD FEB 28 2005.
We both have the same dates with exception of PD. My PD is AUG 31 2001. My 485 is not yet approved. I haven't seen a lot of 485 approvals lately, so I'm just assuming that they are following PD and that they will approve my 485 soon (I hope so). I don't know the trend of 485 approvals. I guess they are still approving 485 and not waiting for 485 processing date.
What are the next step after 485 is approved? My friend's lawyer (we have the same lawyer too as we work for same company), told him that after 485 is approved, that's it, it's done, nothing to do. I don't believe him since I saw something about Infopass and PP stamping in this forum. Can anyone tell me about these? Pardon my ignorance.
