friends I 140 approved

My friends I140 nd 08/28 was approved last week.She received a letter today for fingerprinting appointment in october and interview in november 08th.
I think the Bcis is working faster now.

Was it EB2 or EB3, would you mind mentioning name of service center. Congratulations to you and your friend.
 
are interviews mandatory for I-485 approval or can a case be adjucated without one having to go through an interview?....provided fingerprinting etc. has been done of course
 
What's that??? Letter for fingerprint in 5 months and interview in 6? Where does he/she goes for interview? At Vermont? As far I know USCIS usually transfers the case at the local office which schedule the interview ... this will be the first I've ever heard to be scheduled at VSC ... are you sure this is not a joke? Please clarify.

It's not a joke. The vermont center moved her petition to Boston where they'll handle her interview in November.
 
OK, you forgot the important part then .... the case was transfered, and the scheduling was made by the local office. I apologize for misunderstanding.

Congratulations on your approval. Was your 485 concurrently filed?
Please could you update the 2003 tracker if you havent already? You'll find it under the VSC I-140 forum.
