Friends, do not send the Address change information to INS.

Avoid as far as possible for an address change as I have realized
that it is a sure reason for an RFE. It can be seen clearly from the RFE notice I got today. It states : Please submit a Employment letter explaining clearly job specification and date of hire since you have moved from ABC to XYZ location.

Since I moved after 9/11, I thought I will be sincere and follow all the rules and hence honestly informed the INS, but look what I have got.... RFE ... WHY ???
 
not in my case

I moved in Oct last year, sent AR-11, called IIO to update address, updated address while FP was done. My case was approvded without an RFE.

(I guess I might have been lucky!)
 
Maybe you are right.........

My RD 09/07..........got an RFE yesterday. I moved to a different state in March this year. I informed address change to INS through my attorney.

I still have to receive the notice to exactly know what info they require.

1 Longwait within how many days did u receive the mail. My AVM says notice mailed on Sept 19th... When can I expect the notice?

will post details of RFE once I get it..
