Friend's Approval in TSC (different experience)

One of my friend (applied for 485 in Dec 2002 at TSC) received a call from TSC asking about whether he is still working for the same company or not (working with the same employer). Then the IIO asked if my friend could fax two recent paystubs to their office. My friend faxed the paystubs and saw the status change by evening. The IIO mentioned he could issue an RFE which will take couple of months by the time INS receives it back. Thats why they are calling the people directly.
IIO also apologized for the delay.

hmmmmm..... I wish it happened to me.
 
Thats some thing unimaginable at CSC. I guess this IIO is fresh off the boat :D.

so morale of the story is

Have a copy of Paystubs,EVL all the time so that you can fax it immediately..
 
But according to processing times of TSC, they should be working
on May 2001 cases NOT Dec 2002. How does this big leap happend? :confused:

TSC is well known for random processing. It's like playing the lotto. Sometimes it's LIFO. Last in First Out. Looks like they have just begun to get their act together
 
I believe the initiative of tr22 and 8 members had changed the TSC, which had been infamous as the slowest service center for a long time, through Congressman Lamar Smith.

Now, the CSC is the worst among 4 service centers.
We should keep putting pressure on CSC to have such a nice officer(s).
 
Maybe a sign that TSC really is overtaking CSC (it can't be long away given the progress in TSC and the pathetic performance of CSC) ?
