Friend got GC Approved

Hey Guys,

One of my friend got approved. Two weeks back. He filed I-485 in April 2002. Same company from the Labor and no RFE's.(Good for him). I know this has to go to EAD section, but was curious. Friends wife is looking for job (accounting work/not software) with EAD and is registering with all these local temp agencies. Do they consider her as employee? Is there a limit on how many people she can register with or work for? Will it affect 485?

Any reponses appreciated, poor guy is waiting for 485 approval since Jun 2001.

I don't know about other stuff...
but what poor guy? Didn't you say he applied 485 in April 2002? If you consider this poor, his lady luck will be offended.
 
Got it wrong!!!

Again???, I should have posted it clearly. The EAD question I'm asking for is a different guy and he is waiting from June 2001. The one who got approves filed in April 2002.

As long as the wife is not the primary applicant she can work on pretty much any job she likes. As far as work is concerned, she will be on the same footing as the GC holder thanks to the EAD, as long as her husband (primary) is in AOS!
