Fresh H1B rejected

Hi Gurus,

My friend's fresh H1 is rejected by VSC. He has BCom and MCom from India and he is Oracle Apps (Finance) Functional consultant working in a big reputed company in India. The reason for rejection is his educational background. What are the implications for the rejection? The company (well reputed in US) is planning to file an appeal on his case. Is there a possibility of approval based on this appeal?

Will this rejection affect his Student Visa approval if he plan to come here for MBA next year?

Without reviewing the entire filing it is impossible to say if the case was proven to USCIS. Was an educational evaluation performed? How did that come back, what did the expert say. How did USCIS deal with the expert opinion? These are just a few of the basic considerations. It is impossible to say what the chances are in a specific case but statistically nearly 90% of appeals to the AAO are denied.
