My friend call CSC
His EB2 ND is Aug first week and 485 pending

Friend : told CSC that new JIT shows NOV 19
iio : told it is wrong and their computer shows OCT 1 st
Don't know what is your source of info.

Friend : Planning to send fax inquiry
IIO: we have change our procedure and no need to do fax
He himself will take care and see that he gets something
either more info needed or approval
There is seperate Dept which looks for case not approved
and he will send message to them after they have finish
talking.


He got approved yesterday
And now New JIT also reflects it is OCT 19
Also talking to IIO helps seems

So there was wrong info circulating about NOV 19

Since all lawyer sites said 11/19, probably the wrong info was given out by the INS (typo?). 10/19 seems more real, which means that in the last 6 weeks, the date moved forward by 2 weeks. Which confirms the slowdown and the results of all the scanners tracking we've been doing.

I think it took INS forever to start Oct/Nov cases, it'll take them forever to move JIT fast enough into these cases, just because there were too many sept. people. Seems like they are clearing out the oldies first, which is good.

Whats more, looking @ PCee's list, the ND's go till 10/15 and suddenly jump to 11/02 after that, so there is a definite gap there.

My prognosis would be that, we should see a pickup in speed by end November (unless holiday season sets in), and happy times will be back again. And, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 fridays later, the JIT moves to 11/something.
