Freeze on RFEs?

I has been 2 months since we saw an approal from NSC. And even after the freeze lift also there was no approval from NSC.
And now it looks like there is again freeze on RFEs too at NSC. There is not even a single RFE issued on 01/21/2003 or on 01/22/2003 from NSC in Rupnet.com (sorted by RFE date in rupnet - not finding any RFEs on 01/21 or 01/22 for any month). Did NSC stop processing 485 applications from this week?
Anybody has any information ???

That's a wrong assumption.... I have got an RFE yesterday which is 01/21/2003... that too, for the second time. I don't know what are they asking this time! I am still waiting on those details.

Another Spanner in the Works!

I'm not sure if this piece of news is related, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It appears that the INS have had another policy change to their belt.

Please see: http://shusterman.com/ news of today (Jan 23 '02) "Glitch in Refugee Funding could bring Immigration Processing to a halt"

Apparently the DHS have just ordered price change for I-485's applications ~ god knows why, which will obviously cause a huge reallocation of staff resources to this current policy directive. Just another knife in the back for us which I guess is planned to make only the strongest of us survive.

Here's another news article on the situation....

Remember even though it refers to Refugee application, isolation of these cases etc will mean extra processing time allocated to these type of applications.

Ho Hum.....
