I understand that INS district offices and services are not issuing approvals on any adjustment applications and many naturalization & asylum approvals are also being delayed. This is beacuse of delays in getting FBI clearnces, which the immigration authorities earlier did not wait for. Now, unless there is FBIs affirmaive response, they don't proceed.
