Does the USCIS give complete copy of the I-130 application filed for family member upon request under the FOIA?
I can't find the copy of the I-130 application I filed for my spouse 2.5 years ago.
I am not interested in the status since I follow it online. There's a form G-639 that one can fill out but Part 5 (Data needed on subject of record) and Part 7 are conflicting.
Questions?
1. Since I am the one who filed the petition I should be the person to sign for the request and not my wife, correct?
2. I plan on filing for USC in a few months will the FOIA delay my process since I plan of requesting my A-file?
3. Will the I-130 application for spouse be part of my Alien file or do I have to file 2 separate forms one for Alien file and one the I-130 application I filed?
4. Is there a huge backlog on FOIA and will I receive the files before the cases are approved?
Please help.
