I e-mailed Atlanta German cosulate asking, do I need a transit visa if I have a valid Advance Parole. Below is the reply I got from the German consulate.

A airport transit visa is not required if you have a valid advance parole.
This is only valid for Frankfurt airport.

I Hope this clears all of our questions regarding German transit visa with Advance Parole.

Great

That will be great.. My wife and son are planning to go India next month from Philadelphia.. So I think going through Frankfurt will be good.. almost all other countries need transit visa these days..... Do you think a printed copy of the mail will be sufficient in case some one ask for the Transit Visa....

Thanks
