Hi all,

My case was transferred to local office late last year. I recieved FP notices for my wife and myself. THe only problem is that I am required to do my FPs one day before my wife. Anybody have this experience? Should nlt these people have consideration and do the FPs for my wife and myself on the same day given we have to drive 200 mi to do the FPs?

Two more questions please does this mean that the officer handling our case is mean given that he did not schedule our FPs on the same day or am I reading too much into it? is the FPs done by the officer handling our case or is it done by the office?

Thanks,
Spartakus

Hi
U can request to frontdesk, if there is not rush they will take FP both of you.

Your I-485 was transferred to Charlotte. When did you do your first fingerprint? It is a good sign; at least they are doing something.

Hi Chaudhary-Sahib,

My case was transferred Oct 2004. I hope this is a good sign. I still do not know why anybody would do the FPs for myself and my wife on two different days, I hope the officer did not do that on purpose to make our life miserable but again I may be reading too much into it.

I did my first FPs in Oct 2003 so they expire this month.

Take you wife the day you have your FP and just request the officer if he can do both FP on the same day. I know is frustrating!!
