My appointment was at 12 noon on 8/11/2005 for my FP2-Code 1 (I-485).
I showed up at 7:40 AM to check if I could get it done earlier. At 7:45 AM, the site supervisor (lady) checked the appt. letters and allowed everyone with 8 AM appts into the building (there were about 20-30 of them). The rest were asked to wait outside. After 10 min she asked us to come in and be seated in the last 3 rows.
She clearly explained to everybody that people with 8 AM appointments would be taken care of first. After they were done with the 8 AM appts the rest of the appointments would be attended to. I waited until 10:15 AM and with no sign of us being taken care of (there were quite a few people with appts) asked the lady at the front if it would be better to come back at ~11 am and she said yes.
I returned at 11:30 AM and proceeded to get a token #. There were roughly 40 people ahead of me with token #s. I left to do some shopping and returned 90 minutes later. Waited for 15 min, got called, and got done by 2:00 pm.
Edited for grammer.
