can u do FP in advance? is FP a walk in or is it on appointment?

FP is supposed to be by appointment but you can do a walk-in once you get the FP notice. You will need the FP notice and your LPR card to get the FP done. However, its completely up to the ASC you are going to. They may refuse a walk-in FP if they are busy that day.

Reccomend you havea good reasonfor walking in ...If you cannot make the original date because you are travelling, you should carry your travel itinerary as proof of travel on the original scheduled date.

Correct. But don't call to ask, because they will almost always say NO on the phone. When you actually show up they will normally be more willing to let you in they are not busy. So if you want to do a walk-in before the scheduled date, just go directly there and see if they let you proceed.Some Application Processing Center locations may allow this, the others not.
